Juliet Chang is a Service Facilitator at Grand Journey, providing both Service Facilitation (SF) and Individual Skills Development & Enhancement (ISDE) services. She earned her undergraduate degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in Social Welfare and Education Policy Studies, along with certificates in Global Health and Asian American Studies. As a Wolff Fellow, Juliet spent a year traveling internationally to study the relationship between migration, cultural context, and belonging across the Hmong diaspora.

Juliet brings experience supporting victims and survivors of intimate partner violence, helping individuals access safe housing and supportive services during times of crisis. She is open to working with individuals of all backgrounds, with a special interest in supporting adolescents and young adults, queer communities, and Asian American populations.

Juliet approaches mental health care from a holistic, systems-informed perspective, recognizing the connection between emotional well-being, physical health, social supports, and structural factors. Her work is grounded in cultural responsiveness and ongoing self-reflection, with a commitment to understanding and honoring each individual’s lived experience.

Drawing from her own background and family history, Juliet is passionate about supporting individuals impacted by intergenerational trauma, particularly within refugee and immigrant communities. She values creating spaces where clients feel seen, validated, and empowered to advocate for their needs and break cycles that impact their well-being.

Outside of her professional role, Juliet enjoys crocheting, foraging while hiking, and playing role-playing games with friends. Clients can expect a thoughtful, empathetic, and collaborative approach, where they are met with respect and supported at their own pace.
