Linda Kue Aroonsavath

Program Director

Linda Kue Aroonsavath is the Program Director at Grand Journey, bringing strong leadership, compassion, and a deep commitment to community-centered care. A proud Hmong woman, Linda was born in Madison, Wisconsin, raised in Texas, and later returned to Madison to raise her family and serve the community that shaped her.

Linda earned her BA in Psychology from Lakeland College and her MS in Counseling from the UW–Madison. She also completed doctoral studies in Counseling Psychology at UW–Madison. Since 2021, she has served as a Service Director at Grand Journey and currently serves on Dane County’s CCS Coordination Committee, contributing to system-level collaboration and improvement.

In addition to her leadership role, Linda continues to provide direct services as a Service Facilitator (SF) and Skills Developer (ISDE),and delivers psychoeducation services through therapeutic interventions. Her continued involvement in direct care allows her to remain closely connected to client needs and enhances her ability to provide informed guidance, mentorship, and clinical insight to her team.

Her work is grounded in cultural humility, empathy, and a holistic understanding of the systems that impact individual well-being. She is passionate about creating accessible, meaningful services while consistently valuing and maintaining each client’s dignity. Known for bringing humor, humility, and authenticity, Linda fosters a supportive environment where individuals feel seen, heard, and respected.

Outside of her professional role, Linda is a devoted wife and mother of four, along with one beloved family dog. In her rare free time, she enjoys musical theatre, dance productions, shopping with friends, crocheting small gifts, listening to K-pop, and binge-watching K- and C-dramas. Fun fact: she loves breakfast buffets!
