He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University and is a qualified MBTI practitioner. His professional background spans a wide range of roles, including working with students of color, leading cultural and campus-wide programming, supporting student leadership development, and serving in positions such as academic advisor, ombudsman, director, and adjunct faculty. He has also overseen budgets exceeding one million dollars and coordinated large-scale initiatives such as new student orientation.

He views his background as a strength that allows him to connect with and better support individuals navigating similar challenges.
